ACORN Worker Arrested on Prostitution Charge

There are so many comments I want to make here but I will refrain. I was taught to not say anything about anyone unless it was nice or something to that affect. Here is the story:

A Walnut Hills woman is facing prostitution and drug-related charges after allegedly approaching an undercover police officer for sex.

Cincinnati police arrested Shari Bell Wednesday night, after she allegedly approached an undercover officer’s car in Evanston, and offered him sex for money. Police also say they found a crack pipe in Bell’s coat pocket.

Bell told police she worked for Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), a group that works for progress in low-income communities on issues like housing, education and voter registration, at the time of her arrest.

And of course ACORN has deniability. Isn’t that their mantra though? We didn’t do it or this person no longer works for us. ACORN had this to say:

ACORN head organizer for Cincinnati Amy Teitelman said that Bell did work for the organization as a canvasser, going door to door for four days, but did not show up for work Wednesday, therefore she said they assumed that she had quit.

Yeah Right! We know for a fact that ACORN does no background checks on employees and quite often hire people with criminal histories. And ACORN commits criminal acts themselves. ACORN certainly hires some high quality people don’t they…..
