ACORN/Project Vote in Cahoots With Obama (Update)

A former ACORN staffer for ACORN/Project Vote has come forward with some startling testimony. The story is absolutely amazing and features Obama and ACORN/Project Vote and is available at the Pittsburgh Tribune Review. Here is that story, “Former ACORN staffer testifies” by Brad Bumsted, STATE CAPITOL REPORTER.

In July when I first started reading about ACORN I felt like they were going to be a real problem in this election. I had a sense we would see the rise of voter fraud, misuse of taxpayer money and even possible collusion with the Obama campaign. As the next couple of months passed I lamented on the fact that no one would listen to me. The Pittsburgh Tribune Review did. And here they are noting the ACORN/Project Vote abuses.

Now onto the breaking story:

A former staffer for an affiliate of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now testified today that the organization was provided a “donor list” from the presidential campaign of Barack Obama in late 2007 for fundraising efforts.

Anita Moncrief, a former Washington, D.C. staffer for Project Vote, which she described as a sister organization of ACORN, said her supervisor told her the list of campaign contributors came from the Obama campaign. Moncrief said she has a copy of a “development plan” that outlines how Obama contributors who had “maxed out” under federal contribution limits would be targeted to give to Project Vote, and that it was her job to identify such contributors.

By now we have heard all the rhetoric coming from Obama and his sycophants. We have never paid ACORN. We have no connection to ACORN. The previous words spoken by Biden not more than a week ago. Well it looks like Obama has a little explaining to do. I doubt we will get any honesty…just more lies and miscues.

Watch the following video, Acting Director Bertha Lewis endorses Obama. And she asks you to vote for him on the Working Families Party (WFP) line (For more see New Party, WFP is the New Party with a “new look”. And both parties are affiliated with ACORN.).

And Obama and his cabal of liars are trying to bamboozle the American Voter….

More from the story:

Project Vote national spokesman Michael McDunnah denied that the list came from Obama’s campaign, according to The Associated Press. Donor lists for candidates are public information and can be downloaded from the Federal Election Commission’s Web site. The lists include how much individuals have given. ACORN officials have said Moncrief was fired from Project Vote and that she is not a credible witness. Moncrief testified that ACORN and Project Vote were virtually identical.

There is more substantive testimony and evidence to back up Moncrief’s testimony. It is available at Consumer Rights League (CRL). CRL is in custody of four affidavits that show there is a history of money that easily flows from ACORN Housing Corporation to ACORN and eventually other affiliates. One of those affiliates is Project Vote and they are more than that, they are a political arm of ACORN itself. There is more proof available here in a flow chart provided by CRL.

CRL also has two very well researched pieces on ACORN. One is ACORN’s Hypocritical House of Cards and the other one is $1 Million Scandal Latest To Hit ACORN. Given the level of voter registration by ACORN (although only 400,000 registrations are valid), every person should reads these two reports. They not only highlight the massive problems inside ACORN but they expose all their illegal activity. And discuss the comminglingof taxpayer monies to the political arm of ACORN, which is misuse of taxpayer money. (Author’s Note: The monies ACORN is receiving from the government can never be found on any Congressional budget sheet which is why they have been able to perform their illegal activities under the radar for so long. I dare Rep Boehner (R-OH) to find all the monies!)

More from the Review:

Moncrief, whom Project Vote fired earlier this year, testified for more than two hours during a hearing on a Pennsylvania Republican Party lawsuit aimed at curbing voter fraud in Tuesday’s general election.

Moncrief has faced many challenges prior to testifying. I am certain she was warned about her testimony. I am certain she has risked much by performing her CIVIC DUTY. More from the story:

Moncrief, 29, who now lives in Virginia, also said that she had taken a call from an Obama campaign worker inquiring whether it was the same organization Obama had worked with in the 1990’s. (Author’s Note: Is the Obama campaign running scared now? You can decide for yourself. Read the following piece, “Why Obama and ACORN fear Anita Moncrief”.)

Moncrief said she had received repeated warnings to “back off” from testifying today by people she knows at ACORN.

“I thought it was powerful testimony. She took a great personal risk,” said Heather Heidelbaugh, an attorney representing the state GOP.

On cross-examination, Moncrief admitted that she had no personal knowledge of how Pennsylvania ACORN registered voters.

Moncrief said she was fired because she put personal expenses on the organization’s credit card. She said she repaid about half of the money. “I am really sorry,” she said.

I don’t think she needed personal knowledge of how Pennsylvania ACORN workers register voters. Her testimony supports a growing trend among most ACORN workers, they are committing voter registration fraud. (Author’s Note: Signing the registration card illegally here in Kansas is a felony. It can be prosecuted. And it can lend a voter 17 months in the “big house”. Check your own state out!)

More from the Pittsburgh Tribune Review:

Moncrief said she does not have a vendetta against ACORN.

“I do not think it is a bad organization,” she said. Moncrief said she came forward and contacted Heidelbaugh because she believes low-income vote canvassers were not trained and then were “thrown under the bus”– facing criminal prosecution — for frauduent registrations. She said there were quotas of voter registration forms for workers and that some were fired for not meeting them.

“The (voter) cards are tied to money. The more cards you get the more money you get,” Moncrief said.

I believe there aren’t just questions about voter fraud but about Wage & Labor issues as well. It is illegal to pay a person by the piece according to the Department of Labor. It seems ACORN’s activities are multi-jurisdictional as well as multi-level. Not only is ACORN a state problem but it is a federal problem as well. The FBI and the Pennsylvania courts are investigating their activities, why isn’t the Wage & Labor Division of the Department of Labor investigating them as well?

The most disturbing thing about this testimony is the connection between the Obama campaign and ACORN/Project Vote. Yet once again Obama’s campaign is denying any connection.

The Obama campaign said it wasn’t involved in ACORN registration drives .

“Our campaign has not coordinated with ACORN whatsoever on any voter registration activities,” said Obama spokesman Sean Smith.

Not so fast Mr. Smith, there is that little matter of $832,000 Obama paid Citizens Services Inc/ACORN. Many millions of people know about it too. And I should point out the fact the proof is in Obama’s FEC filings. Stop denying it. The more you appear defensive on the subject as Biden did, the more the American people don’t believe you.

And here is that interview just so we can remember Biden’s defensiveness:

Obama, Biden and his campaign cabal are lying, on that there is no doubt. Obama is still connected to ACORN and has never ceased being connected.
